Could I have an application form? http://gbooks3.melodysoft.com/app?ID=saludoscolotlan&DOC=1 buy duetact But here’s the thing. If a (straight) male colleague greeted me as ‘lovely’, or referred to me as ‘sweetie’, I’d bristle. I would indeed feel patronised, and I probably wouldn’t like it at all. And I might well find it a little ‘iffy’ – a little forward, in fact – if a (straight) man I was doing business with put x-es at the bottom of his correspondence. Between females, or – yes - from gay male colleagues, it feels friendly, affectionate (sisterly, even). From a red-blooded heterosexual male, it’s somehow sexist and a tad threatening. I am entirely aware that this is heck of a contradiction – but it’s also a conundrum.
